Apartments & Location

How many apartments does the Lodge have?

Alkira Lodge is a small 3-storey building with 4 apartments available
for rent: 3 Two-bedroom apartments (Iluka, Kirra and Tau) and 1 One-bedroom apartment (Talia).

Where is the Lodge located?

The building is located in a tranquil and quiet residential area on the corner of via Txu Terrat and via Toda, just over a 1 km from the old town, the marina (approx. 15 minute walk away) and 500 mt from the inner city beach of Las Tronas.

Is it easy to find parking nearby?

Yes. There is free parking available in Piazza Cao, opposite the Lodge.

Do the apartments have terraces overlooking the sea?

All apartments have one or more terraces furnished with either table and chairs or an outdoor sofa. From Iluka, you can enjoy a beautiful and stunning view of the sea and Capo Caccia.

How are the apartments furnished?

The apartments – completely renovated in 2016 – feature new modern and functional furnishings and are all equipped with Wi-Fi, TV, air-conditioning, wall safe, washing machine, linen…

What services are included in the price per day rates?

Each apartment comes complete with all comforts, all inclusive in
the price you pay for your stay. See full list of all inclusive services.

Are there extra fees?

The only compulsory extra charge is the final cleaning cost (€40).

The cleaning of the kitchen corner is not included in the price and is under the guests responsability. Should you wish to avail of the kitchen cleaning on departure, the cost is €30,00.

Upon request, transfer service to/from Alghero Airport (from €25 to €30 per trip), baby cots (€5 per day / €20 per week), change of linen (€10 per person, per change) are all available.

Is there a Tourist or City Tax?

Yes, at check-in we are obliged to ask our guests the payment of the Tourist/City Tax determined by the Alghero City Council. The rates for 2017 for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights are: €0.50 per person, per day (from 1st May to 30th September) and  €0.25 per person, per day (from 1st October to 30th April).
No charge for children up to 11 years of age.

Conditions of stay

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in between 3pm and 7pm; check-out by 10am. Any late
check-ins or check-outs are to be agreed in advance.

What is the minimum stay?

From September to June: 3 days; July and August: 7 days.

Are there discounts for children?

Yes: children up to 2 years of age do not pay (on request cots are
available – €5 per day / €20 per week).

Pets accepted?

Yes, we accept small pets.

How can I pay?

Upon confirming your reservation, we request a bank transfer of the
amount equal to the 1st night of your stay. Balance to be paid prior to arrival again with bank transfer or directly at check-in, in cash.

Are there penalties if I cancel my reservation?

Yes: we withhold the amount for the 1st night as penalty fee for
cancellation.
